How to cancel NordVPN
The steps to cancel NordVPN, checked on 21 Oct 2026 against NordVPN's own help page. If something looks different, that page has the latest steps.
Offers to stay
The cancel flow may show you an offer to stay, such as a discount or a pause. You can always say no and finish cancelling.
Steps
- Log in to your Nord Account at my.nordaccount.com.
- Open the Billing tab.
- Select Cancel next to Auto-renewal, then Cancel auto-renewal.
- Check that auto-renewal shows OFF. A confirmation email follows.
Before you cancel
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there instead. Cancelling with NordVPN doesn't stop that billing.
- You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Paid through Apple or Google Play?
If you subscribed in the NordVPN app on your phone, Apple or Google Play may bill you. Then cancel it there:
