How to cancel 1Password
The steps to cancel 1Password, checked on 21 Oct 2026 against 1Password's own help page. If something looks different, that page has the latest steps.
Offers to stay
The cancel flow may show you an offer to stay, such as a discount or a pause. You can always say no and finish cancelling.
Steps
- Sign in to your account on 1Password.com.
- Select Billing in the sidebar.
- Select Cancel subscription (scroll down if needed).
- Follow the prompts on the screen.
Before you cancel
- After the paid period ends, your account is frozen. Your data is kept.
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there instead. Cancelling with 1Password doesn't stop that billing.
Paid through Apple or Google Play?
If you subscribed in the 1Password app on your phone, Apple or Google Play may bill you. Then cancel it there:
