How to cancel Apple subscriptions
The steps to cancel Apple subscriptions, checked on 21 Oct 2026 against Apple's own help page. If something looks different, that page has the latest steps.
Offers to stay
The cancel flow may show you an offer to stay, such as a discount or a pause. You can always say no and finish cancelling.
Steps
- On iPhone or iPad: open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then the subscription you want to stop.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll down).
- On a Mac: open the App Store, click your name, then find Subscriptions.
- On the web: sign in at account.apple.com and open Subscriptions.
Before you cancel
- Cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends, so it doesn't renew.
- If there's no Cancel button, or a red message with an end date, it's already cancelled.
- You can't cancel a family member's subscription. They have to do it themselves.
