How to cancel Claude

Offers to stay
The cancel flow may show you an offer to stay, such as a discount or a pause. You can always say no and finish cancelling.
Steps
- Log in at claude.ai or open the Claude desktop app.
- Select your initials or name in the lower-left corner.
- Open Settings, then Billing.
- Select Cancel.
Before you cancel
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing date.
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there instead. Cancelling with Claude doesn't stop that billing.
Paid through Apple or Google Play?
If you subscribed in the Claude app on your phone, Apple or Google Play may bill you. Then cancel it there:
