Offers to stay
The cancel flow may show you an offer to stay, such as a discount or a pause. You can always say no and finish cancelling.
Steps
- Sign in to Manage My Account at manage.theguardian.com.
- In your account overview, select Manage subscription, contribution or membership.
- Scroll to the bottom for the cancellation steps.
Before you cancel
- In the UK, print and Guardian Weekly subscriptions can't be cancelled online. Contact customer service.
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there instead. Cancelling with The Guardian doesn't stop that billing.
Paid through Apple or Google Play?
If you subscribed in the The Guardian app on your phone, Apple or Google Play may bill you. Then cancel it there:
