How to cancel Amazon Prime

Offers to stay
- Amazon lets some Prime members pause their membership instead of ending it. The pause starts after the current billing period. It isn't available on every plan, for example free trials or memberships through a third party.Source, checked on 23 Oct 2026.
The cancel flow may show you an offer to stay, such as a discount or a pause. You can always say no and finish cancelling.
Steps
- Sign in to Amazon in a web browser.
- Open Your Prime Membership and choose to end your membership.
- Follow the prompts until the cancellation is confirmed.
Before you cancel
- Use the Amazon website of the country where you have your account (amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.in…).
- Prime Video Channels (such as Paramount+) are separate subscriptions and keep running.
- If you pay through Apple or Google Play, cancel there instead. Cancelling with Amazon doesn't stop that billing.
